Mentoring

Since September 2015, the CAE Haute-Yamaska and region has been the lead organization for the Mentoring for Entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs Granby and region.

In practical terms, mentoring

provides a lifeline for entrepreneurs, enabling the mentee to break the isolation often felt in the entrepreneurial world. The mentor listens attentively and asks pertinent questions to help clarify the problems encountered. He or she reframes the challenges experienced and guides the mentee in identifying potential solutions.

The mentor encourages and motivates, while sharing his or her critical sense in a constructive way. He offers honest feedback on the entrepreneur’s attitudes, drawing on his own experience. Finally, the mentor scrupulously respects the confidentiality of exchanges, creating an environment of trust conducive to personal and professional growth.
