Granby, June 19, 2025 – As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Centre d’aide aux entreprises Haute-Yamaska et région (CAEHYR), a vibrant tribute was paid to Lise Faucher, a woman of heart and commitment, whose remarkable career deeply marked the history and mission of the organization. President of CAEHYR for over two decades and member of the Board of Directors for over 37 years, she embodied the stability, vision and soul of CAEHYR through the decades.
It was in an atmosphere of gratitude that CAEHYR inaugurated its conference room, now named Salle Lise Faucher, in her honor. A commemorative plaque was unveiled in the presence of members of the Board of Directors, the Investment Committee, administrators, elected officials and the entire CAEHYR team. Heartfelt testimonials, an archive video and the presence of former colleagues underlined the impact of her exceptional commitment.
“She is the epitome of erudition. Her rigor and the relevance of her interventions give her that rare ability to deeply understand sometimes complex issues while applying simple, effective solutions. Lise is extremely methodical, and her attention to detail has made her a key figure, not only within CAEHYR, but also in the entrepreneurial community,” emphasizes David Dupont, President of CAEHYR.
For nearly forty years, Lise Faucher has helped shape a solid, forward-looking organization with a human face. She has consolidated CAEHYR’s mission while keeping the values of collaboration and service to entrepreneurs at the heart of her actions.
“His wisdom and experience have been invaluable guides for me. His dedication and leadership have been pillars of our organization. His vision has greatly contributed to making our CAEHYR a model of efficiency and success in Quebec,” said Roland Choinière, General Manager of CAEHYR for 26 years.
The constituency office of Louis Villeneuve, MNA for Brome-Missisquoi, also hailed the event: “We wish to highlight the tribute paid to Ms. Faucher, whose commitment and inspiring career fully deserve recognition.”
The emotion on Ms. Faucher’s face was palpable. An official citation will be added to this historic moment in the coming days. “Naming our boardroom after Lise Faucher is much more than a symbolic gesture. It’s a way of recognizing a woman who shaped our organization with integrity, intelligence and profound humanity. Her imprint is everywhere,” says Isabelle Brochu, CAEHYR General Manager since 2014.
