A word from the President

This year marks a milestone for our organization: 40 years of commitment, growth and support for regional entrepreneurship. Forty years of collaboration, ambitious projects and tangible benefits for our community.

From the very first Board of Directors – made up of Lise Faucher, Claude Gravel, André Deschamps, Luc Benoit, Colette Gagnon, Yvon Ranger, Louis Choinière and Taddéo Giusti, with Roland Choinière at the helm – to the present day, we’ve grown thanks to the involvement of hundreds of committed people. A number of activities will mark this 40th anniversary over the coming months.

In light of this turning point, and after reflecting on our positioning, last year the Board of Directors and the entire team embarked on an ambitious and inspiring strategic planning exercise to set the course for the coming decades! This exercise enabled us to clarify our role, consolidate our mission and chart our course for the coming years.

From this process emerged clear and ambitious orientations, which will guide our actions: being more present in the field, making the next generation of entrepreneurs a regional priority, working in synergy with our partners and carrying out flagship projects that reinforce our identity. With a strong balance sheet, a great team, a long-term agreement with CED and over $11 million in investment funds, we are ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges with confidence and enthusiasm.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful adventure: entrepreneurs, partners, employees, directors, investment committee members and mentors.

Together, let’s continue to forge ahead towards another 40 years of innovation, boldness and solidarity.
